World History classes perform Viking skits
This week in Mr. Xenakis’ World History classes, students worked together to create skits that taught their classmates about the Vikings. Students first took notes on the Vikings and then worked in groups for a few days to develop a storyline and script for their skits. They were quite creative in their story ideas. The group pictured in the photo (Evan Schlifstein, Sascha Broderick, Casey Andrion and Hunter Gordon) chose to present their skit as an infomercial designed to get people to join them on their Viking raids. They were very creative in their dialogue and did a great job performing their roles as if they were veteran actors. Another group that did a great job included David Kelly, Steven Smiley, Jose Lynch and Xiaofeng Yin. Angela Lorusso, who made up the project on her own because she was absent, did her own one-woman infomercial that greatly impressed the students in her class. Though these students deserve special mention for the excellence of their work, many more did a fabulous job. Nice work everyone!
