The mission of the Farragut Family Association (FFA) is to promote family-to-family engagement and school spirit at Admiral Farragut Academy by involvement in athletics, campus events, and fundraising initiatives.
About the FFA
If you have more questions about the Farragut Family Association, please email us at FFA@farragut.org.
How does the association and executive committee function?
The Executive Committee will include the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These individuals will support each committee and ensure they have the resources necessary. They will also stay in communication with the committee staff liaison and act as the FFA parent voice.
There will be 1-2 Committee Head(s) of the 11 standing committees and each committee will have a staff liaison which will help be the point person at Farragut.
Each year the president and vice president will represent both school divisions. He/she will also be a parent/guardian of a child, one from the Lower and one from the Upper School. They will serve a one year term and be able to continue in their position for up to two years.
Who is a member of the FFA?
All Farragut families are members of the FFA. There is no membership fee, we just need your help to make this the best school year yet through events and volunteerism!
Who is on the FFA Executive Board for 2020-201?
- President – Diedre Turner
- Vice President – Cathy Larrinaga
- Secretary – Jennifer Love
- Treasurer – Vickie Cuesta
How do I know when a meeting is happening?
Association meetings are published on the schoolwide calendar or division announcements. Committee meetings should be shared via email to those that are on the committee. If you ever have questions, you can email FFA@farragut.org.
