Homecoming 2021 Goes Virtual this February
While we hoped that the approval of a vaccine would allow us to move about and gather more freely, the reality is that the status of COVID-19 is not improving as rapidly as we hoped. The appearance of the new and more contagious strain now seen in Florida and other states is a growing concern for our alumni and school community. After careful consideration and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person Homecoming event that was scheduled for February 5 – 7, 2021.
Because we understand that now more than ever we need to stay connected, we will host a virtual Homecoming gathering on Feb 6, 2021, starting at 6:00 PM, and hope you will be able to join us. Come and connect with your classmates from the comfort of your home. Featuring guest speaker RADM Mark Buzby ’75N USN (Ret.), State of School address with COL Donna Brazil Interim Head of School, and a virtual happy hour.
Stay tuned for the zoom details. We look forward to connecting. #WeAreFarragutAlumni
