Homecoming Weekend is a time to walk the halls, share stories, and remember your days as a cadet at Admiral Farragut Academy.
We all have busy schedules, but when our alumni gather on campus to celebrate their memories and friendships — they always leave saying, “I am so glad I took the time to attend.” We invite you and yours to join us for a great weekend on campus November 3 & 4, 2017
With great weather (we put in a special request each year) we are excited to welcome a hundred or more alumni onto to campus this Fall. This is our time to “shine” for you and share the amazing progress our school has seen and let you talk to our well-rounded, enthusiastic and mature cadets. Our goal for the weekend is simple. Come filled with memories and stories, leave like you relived them all. Arrive with questions for your peers, depart with answers. And last but not least, leave proud of your alma mater and where she stands today in 2017, knowing that the young men and women today are better prepared for the road ahead thanks to their own “Farragut Experience.”
The weekend is packed with campus tours, waterfront activities, our annual Homecoming Parade, Commandant’s Tailgate Party followed with the football game. While we have a full schedule of events, we leave Saturday wide open for you and your peers to get together. We are happy to help you schedule an event or location to gather. During the evening is our annual alumni dinner.
Gathering options to consider during the day on Saturday:
Pirate Ship Tour of Boca Ciega Bay
Charter Fishing Trip from Johns Pass
Golf Event locally
Poolside BBQ at your hotels or other locations
And of course shops and museums in Downtown St. Pete (if you haven’t seen Downtown St. Pete, it has seen an amazing transformation!)
This is your weekend, so grab your yearbook and round up your classmates. We hope you and your family can join us for this GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!
