Scuba students dive in Key West
Mr. Davenport finished the Scuba Program for the 2014-15 school year by taking eight students on a diving expedition to Key Largo. On the trip that occurred at the beginning of May, the students saw an incredible amount of fish, including moray eels.
“It was an amazing way to finish my time in the scuba program,” said James Hales ’15, who spent four years at Farragut. “I learned so much from Mr. Davenport. The scuba program he runs sets Farragut apart from any other school.”
Because the trip was so successful, Mr. Davenport plans on implementing two trips to the Florida Keys next year.
