31 cadets received promotions on the Regiment
31 cadets of the 2015-16 school year received promotions last week under Naval Science’s new promotion system. The cadets earned promotions (ranked up) because of their dedicated effort and hard work.
Under the new promotion system, cadets are required to complete various task that ensure they are developing their leadership skills. The new promotion system provides each cadet with the practical knowledge to lead in the various positions and opportunities within the Regiment. In turn, the promotion system assures that Admiral Farragut Academy will always have great leaders!
Sascha Broderick ’19, a 7-day boarder from Cayman Islands, received her first promotion since she began attending Farragut this past August. “I was promoted from no rank to Cadet Seaman Apprentice and that means I will have more responsibility. I am very excited for this next step. My friends and I have a competition for whoever earns the most ribbons and insignias on their uniforms.”
