Nine Varsity Track and Field athletes continue to states; five school records broken
The Admiral Farragut Academy BlueJacket Varsity Track and Field team is finishing up another amazing year. Five school records were broken at regionals and nine student-athletes qualified to go to the State Championships. At the State Championships, the girls’ team earned three more records, taking 2nd place overall with just five girls competing.
Alex Gray ‘16 named BHSN Athlete of the Week

Track boys team is Class 1A region champions, girls 2nd overall region runner up
Here is a recap of last Thursday’s Class 1A Region meet from Calvary Christian in which the boys team captured first and the girls team finished in second. The top four in their respective events move on to the state tournament, which will be held Friday and Saturday at IMG Academy in Bradenton. Read more

Here is a recap of the track team’s performance at the district meet last week at Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota. Three new school records were beaten! The girls team finished 2nd overall and the boys finished 3rd overall. Team finish and athletes who finished in the top four to advance to regional meet on Thursday, April 28 at Calvary Christian School in Clearwater. Read more
Track and Field impressive performances at the Class 1A-District 7 meet, individuals continue to 1A region final
The BlueJackets boys and girls track and field teams both had impressive performances Thursday at the Class 1A-District 7 meet, which was held at Out of Door Academy in Sarasota. The boys teams finished in third and the girls team captured second.
Track team gets off to a blazing start
The track team competed at its first meet last weekend when the BlueJackets squared off against 21 other teams at the Berkeley Track & Field Invitational, taking first in seven events. Girls took second overall, boys took seventh overall. Read more
