8th grader, Maurice Leon, earns 5th place in Middle School Track and Field State Competition
Maurice Leon placed 5th in Discus at the Middle School Track and Field State Competition this past Saturday, May 13 at IMG Academy.
Nine Varsity Track and Field athletes continue to states; five school records broken
The Admiral Farragut Academy BlueJacket Varsity Track and Field team is finishing up another amazing year. Five school records were broken at regionals and nine student-athletes qualified to go to the State Championships. At the State Championships, the girls’ team earned three more records, taking 2nd place overall with just five girls competing.
The Farragut community honors Coach Nick during retirement party
On Monday, May 8th, the Farragut community including students and their parents, alumni, faculty, and staff paid tribute to the 40+ years of Coach Nick and his dedication to Admiral Farragut Academy.
Mother and Son, Fun Under the Sun event at the waterfront
On Saturday, April 29, the Parents’ Group held their first Mother and Son, Fun Under the Sun event at the waterfront. It was a beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze where 75 mothers, aunts and grandmothers came out for a day of fun activities and food with the Lower School boys. Read more

Graduating senior Chris Hastrup was honored Wednesday for his leadership with an award rarely given to students, and never before to one at Admiral Farragut Academy.

Project update on the New Building Capital Campaign; demolition underway
On March 31st, the building committee selected our builder, Gilbane, Inc. Gilbane is one of the largest privately held family-owned construction and real estate development firms in the industry.
