Tech Dept spends an evening with Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak

As part of the St. Petersburg College Foundation’s Distinguished Speakers Series, Admiral Farragut Academy’s Technology Department along with a few other staff members attended “The Wozniak Project” with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak on November 2.

Wozniak spoke about creating Apple, invention of the personal computer, his relationship with Steve Jobs through the years, and what he thinks the future will bring in computing.

Chief Information Officer Joe Sloan said, “He had a lot of personal insight which was interesting to hear. You often can’t find this raw information in a book. I learned a lot and enjoyed his perspective. It was an honor to meet ‘Woz.'”
