Schreiber says In September 1944 I entered Admiral Farragut Academy in Pine Beach, NJ, as a Junior. Looking back, I am still amazed that Farragut was just over a decade old. The campus was complete with 2 dormitories, 2 gyms, a library, modern sickbay, classrooms, football stadium, track, tennis courts, waterfront, and lots of boats. There were also administrative offices, the mess hall, uniform and tailor shop, barbershop, snack shop, and much more.

On Friday, October 12th, Lower School got to experience some quality time with their dads, grandpas and uncles during the Pancakes with Pops breakfast.
During the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, Mrs. LoRusso’s Lower School STEM classes have been learning through all sorts of fun activities.
During this first semester, Upper School Math Instructor Ms. Amy Smith has been working hard to engage her Algebra II Honor students with fun games and activities. According to the MIND Research Institute, game-based math boosts students and teachers abilities to reason, understand underlying concepts and find solutions to complex math problems. Read more

On Saturday, September 29th, Farragut parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends gathered for the Admiral’s Athletics Club Poker Run held in downtown St. Petersburg. This was the third year the AAC hosted this event and this year was the most successful yet! 96 hands were sold and the event grossed over $8,000 which will go toward supporting our student-athletes and the athletic department’s needs.
