School spelling bee winners

Congratulations to 8th grader Bianca DeSilva, the winner of the Admiral Farragut Academy spelling bee.

Her championship word was Udon, a Japanese wheat noodle. She will represent Farragut at the regional spelling bee on March 12th. Congratulations 4th grader Aiden Geis, 2nd place, and 3rd grader Alexandra Wallace, 3rd place.  All of the participants did a wonderful job. Thank you to all of the participating teachers and especially Mrs. Ewing who orchestrates the whole spelling be, Mrs. Reilly for pronouncing, and Mr. Ewing and Mr. Hercher for judging. They have all been involved in the spelling bee for 8 years.
