Annual Fund donors are honored during “Thanks a Brunch”

Did you give this year? The Annual Fund for Student Enrichment covers the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a student at Farragut. Like all independent schools, our budget is set so that tuition covers about 90% of our expenses. The 10% balance of our needed income comes from the Annual Fund.

On Wednesday, November 18 in the West Lounge parents and other donors joined together for a “Thanks a Brunch” breakfast to honor their generosity to The Annual Fund for Student Enrichment.

Names of our Annual Fund donors were hung as leaves in a “Thankful Tree” table centerpiece where donors could search for their name among the leaves and leave a message of gratitude. We would like to say “Thank You” for supporting Admiral Farragut Academy, the mission, and the day-to-day needs that goes into a Farragut education.

On one of the “Thankful Tree” leaves, a donor wrote:

“I’m truly blessed and honored to be part of such a wonderful place!”

Donors in attendance received a Farragut anchor keychain to represent they are key to our school’s growth and success. The breakfast was catered by SAGE Dining Services.

On behalf of the school, the Advancement Team, and the Administration, we would like to thank our donors once again for their generous support!
