That’s A Wrap!
New Building Campaign Ended December 31st; Exceeds $4 Million Goal
Farragut’s first-ever capital campaign ended in success on December 31, 2019, with 231 donors exceeding the goal by giving nearly $4.3 million to the three-year New Building Campaign.
The results are impressive including the multipurpose creative and performing arts facility, DeSeta Hall, which includes a large auditorium, art, band, and theater classrooms, much-needed storage rooms, and new administrative offices. Widening of the circular drive in front of Farragut Hall, improved campus lighting, and significantly increased parking round out the project.
According to Chief Development Officer Tony Sloan, nearly half the donations were for $1,000 or more indicating a strong commitment from alumni, parents, and friends of Farragut. While the campaign has officially ended, there is still time to be part of this historic effort including a few remaining naming opportunities.
