Farragut Family Association 2020 Online Fundraiser and Auction exceeds goal
The Farragut Family Association (FFA) 2020 online fundraiser that ran from Oct 1-16 was a success. 72 individuals participated and the funds raised netted $23,500.
“I am happy with the result because we had set a goal of $20,000 and we exceeded that,” said Farragut boarding parent Stefanie Fisher, the event’s chairperson.
She is also chairing the annual FFA gala and auction which will take place on March 6, 2021, and will be a little different this year according to Ms. Fisher.
She feels Farragut alumni and parents will be ready for a party so she is promising a fun, casual, outside, social distanced, sunset event with a live band, great food, plenty of drinks, lots of items to bid on, and a few surprises.
The Farragut Family Association uses funds raised for the benefit and support of Admiral Farragut Academy.
Next up for the FFA is the highly anticipated Holiday Poinsettia Sale in November with the added option of buying wreaths this year. More information coming soon!
