During the week of April 12-16, 2021, the Scholastic Book Fair was held in the lobby of DeSeta Hall. This year’s theme was ‘Time Machine – Reading Can Take You Anywhere.’

In honor of the Class of 1951, George Rodgers donated his model of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to Farragut’s Wagner Museum. Rodgers was a Naval Aviator and then retired as Vice President of Beech Aircraft in 1993.
The 2020-21 Farragut BlueJackets Girls Varsity Basketball season was capped off this week by the election of six girls receiving Honorable Mention to the all-Pinellas County Girls Varsity basketball team. Read more
Congratulations to Thomas Le ’21 for placing third in the Largo Public Library’s 37th Annual Stanley Shalit Short Story Competition. Thomas was one of over 300 students in Pinellas County to enter this year’s competition, whose theme was Close Encounters of the Book Kind.Read more
Admiral Farragut Academy is proud to announce the Radford Star cadet recipients for the 3rd quarter of the 2020-21 school year. The Radford Star Award is the single highest honor a cadet can receive at the Academy. It recognizes outstanding cadets who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, deportment, drill, and seamanship. Cadets who earn a score of 25 or above, qualify for a period of one marking period and are awarded three stars to wear on their uniforms.
