With a fantastic team effort and a great partnership with the Parents’ Group, Science Department, and USF-College of Marine Science, Admiral Farragut Academy held a school-wide Earth Day Clean-up at The Clam Bayou Preserve, a 10-acre park in Gulfport.
On Sunday, April 23, seniors Alycia Mora, Maya Antes, and Ashton Taylor got the opportunity to perform their poetry on the WMNF radio show Poetry Is, hosted by poets Wally B. Jennings and Phillip Scott.

On Wednesday, April 12, Bolun “Jerry” Liu, an alumnus from China who graduated with the Class of 2012, spoke to Aviation students about life after high school and his experience at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). Read more
As the Parents’ Group moves ahead with the Shade Project, they would like to first install sunscreen stations with dispensers at selected locations around campus to help students protect themselves from sun damage.
