Registration open for Summer Camps 2021 with day and boarding offerings
2020 was quite a year and we are all looking forward to things getting back to “normal.” To that end, Admiral Farragut Academy has opened registration for our Summer Camps 2021 and we are offering day and boarding options.
Day Camps

Little Captains Camp
We are pleased to announce that our Little Captains summer camp will run for 10 weeks this year instead of the four weeks as in the past. Little Captains will begin on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, and run for 10 weeks until Friday, August 6, 2021. We will continue to have exciting weekly themes and activities that are both fun and educational. Our camp will be led by Mrs. Marilyn Reynolds and her staff of Counselors, Counselors-In-Training, and Junior Counselors. The camp is open to students rising to grades Kindergarten through 11th.
Basketball and Volleyball Sports Camps
We currently have two sports camps available as well. One is for basketball, led by Farragut Varsity Basketball Coach Julian Allen. The other sports camp includes two volleyball clinics led by Farragut Varsity Volleyball Coach Kasey Reynolds.
Boarding Camp
Our new boarding camp will run for five weeks beginning Sunday, July 11, 2021, and is now called the Signature Summer Series (SSS). Each week of our Signature Summers Series will highlight one or two of our signature programs including STEM, Leadership/Sailing, Marine Science/Scuba, and Aviation. No academic credit will be offered so the campers will be immersed in all that makes our signature programs so special. Additionally, each week will include a team challenge based on a real-life issue. They will work with fellow team members to work toward a solution while developing a sense of community and all of the skills associated with teamwork. The fifth week will be a gap week that bridges the week between the last Signature program and the start of our school year. During that week, students will explore the wonderful things that Florida has to offer, including our many springs, historic sites, and local attractions.
