Carlos R. Javier was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He earned an undergraduate degree in Family & Child Studies with a concentration in Sociology and Family Services from Montclair State University.
Prior to relocating from New Jersey to Florida, Carlos worked leading a national non-profit for youth and community development at All Stars Project. He helped lead the organizations NJ location as the Operations Manager of the Scott Flamm Center for Afterschool Development.
In 2018, Carlos joined the Admiral Farragut Academy team and served as the Project Lead the Way – Introduction to Engineering and Introduction to Design Thinking, Teacher in the Upper School Engineering Department.
As a TAC Mentor Carlos is committed to the support of building a better future for society by investing in the young people of the world who make up the next generations. He believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to develop in all aspects of life. In life and in his work, Carlos constantly strives to experience new possibilities for growth and development.
Influenced by his love of cars at an early age, Carlos was one of the founding Presidents of an auto club in New Jersey. With the club, he organized and participated in events and races throughout the east coast that partnered and raised funds for various charities such as Autism Speaks and the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Carlos and his dad both share the same birthday May 5th, Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
