In honor of the Class of 1951, George Rodgers donated his model of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to Farragut’s Wagner Museum. Rodgers was a Naval Aviator and then retired as Vice President of Beech Aircraft in 1993.
Congratulations to Thomas Le ’21 for placing third in the Largo Public Library’s 37th Annual Stanley Shalit Short Story Competition. Thomas was one of over 300 students in Pinellas County to enter this year’s competition, whose theme was Close Encounters of the Book Kind.

Three senior students, Maurice Leon, Turiya Moka, and Casey McKee, earned the Gold Key, Silver Key, or Honorable Mention in the Pinellas County Scholastic Regional Art & Writing Awards 2021.
On March 24, 2021, and for the third year in a row, Farragut parent and Outback Bowl Board Member Christopher Giblin presented a $5,000 check to the Farragut Fund to be used in support of teachers and students. Giblin is the father of Farragut seventh-grader Chris Giblin.
