As the Parents’ Group moves ahead with the Shade Project, they would like to first install sunscreen stations with dispensers at selected locations around campus to help students protect themselves from sun damage.
On Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 9:00 AM, the Student Center at Admiral Farragut Academy overflowed with supportive classmates, faculty, and staff as Farragut senior and track and field athlete, Katie Barnett, signed with Princeton University. Katie will become a member of their women’s track and field team, whom are 18-time Ivy League Heptagonal Champions.

Over Spring Break, Upper School Spanish teacher, Cesar Robalino, and Commandant Office Assistant, Beverly Gonczar, took a group of students on a trip to Spain and France. Miss Beverly wrote an account of their trip, which included stops in Barcelona, Madrid, Provence, and Paris.
In our continuing partnership with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Federal, the Upper School science classes at Admiral Farragut Academy recently participated in the NOAA Federal “Fishermen of the Greater Tampa Bay” Oral History Grant for the second time this year (and the third consecutive year).
Two staff members ventured down to Grand Cayman on Monday, March 27th to visit Farragut alumni, current and past parents, and to host an event for prospective students.
