Farragut enrollment breaks school record at over 500 students
The 2018-19 academic year has begun with the largest starting student population in the Academy’s history with a total of 506 students on opening day.

Four students attend 2018 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment
Over the summer, Farragut students Jared Ariza, Justin Ariza, and Erik Sokolowski, all class of 2020, and Dylan Miksch ‘19 represented Admiral Farragut Academy at The 2018 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment (WYSE) in Washington, D.C. Families gather at the Back-To-School Parent Social to celebrate the 2018-19 school year
On Sunday, August 19, 2018, around 175 parents joined members of the faculty and staff at The Club at Treasure Island for the Back-To-School Parent Social.
Five Farragut cadets attended Leadership Academy this summer

Leadership Academy is a week-long program run by the NJROTC Area 07 Manager and hosted annually by Admiral Farragut Academy. This intense and challenging program is only for the most highly motivated and determined cadets who have an aptitude for the best boarding school in US disciplines and who choose to challenge themselves to their core, emotionally and physically. The instructors are hand selected by the NJROTC Area Manager and are among the very best of the 130 assigned. All Drill Instructors have “pushed boots” on active duty and have exceptional records of success. Read more

Back to School Parent Social on Sunday, August 19th
Let’s celebrate the beginning of a great year!
All parents are invited to the Back to School Parent Social on Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Club at Treasure Island. The event is hosted by the Admiral Farragut Academy Parents‘ Group. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet each other and ask faculty and staff questions!
- Dress is resort casual
- Includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar
- Adults only, no Upper School children please. For those with Lower School (PreK-7th grade) children that are currently enrolled, childcare will be provided at no cost.
Please RSVP and include the number of adult attendees and number of Lower School children with names and ages so we have enough sitters.

2018-2019 Fall Sports Important Dates
Dates for the first practice, try-out period, and parent meetings, along with coach information.
Students can participate in sports starting in 6th grade. Middle School teams represent students in grades 6-8.
