Richard Fisher ‘67N was inducted into Texas Business Hall of Fame
Richard Fisher ’67N was inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame on Oct.16, 2019, in front of more than 1,100 of his family, friends, and peers. Richard joined a prestigious list of Texas business leaders inducted into the Hall of Fame, including Ross Perot, T. Boone Pickens, Gary Kelly, and Kendra Scott.
Richard is a Senior Advisor to Barclays (a British bank holding company) and a director of PepsiCo, ATT, Tenet Healthcare, and is a senior contributing editor for CNBC. From 2005 to 2015 he was President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Richard’s 10 years at the Federal Reserve were chronicled in the best selling book Fed Up by Danielle DiMartino Booth. Prior to that, he led an extraordinary life in both the public and private sectors. More importantly, Richard has been involved in a long history of charitable activities, including Farragut. Richard’s brother Michael is also a Farragut alum, Class of 1959 north campus.
