Dinner for Boarding School Students

Boarding school students have the same range of choices for dinner as they do for lunch, with each dinner menu being distinct from lunch. We also take pride in incorporating culturally themed meals due to the diverse nature of our school.

The Mess Hall

All meals are served in the Mess Hall located on the first floor of historic Farragut Hall. Often it’s too beautiful to eat inside, so located right next to the Mess Hall is an outdoor covered seating area that overlooks our waterfront. On special occasions throughout the year students enjoy cookouts and tailgates on the lawn.

Students also have smoothies and snacks vailable in our Ship’s Store after school at an additional cost.

Food Allergies

To help find safe items in the dining hall, click on the allergens/restrictions tab in the online menu. Then, choose the allergen(s) that you want to avoid and see how the menu adjusts. If you want to know more about a dish, click directly on the menu item to get the full list of ingredients. Admiral Farragut Academy is a peanut-free school and does not serve any foods with peanuts or allow snacks with peanuts to be brought to school.

All food allergies should be submitted to the Student Health Services Office upon enrollment and if there is ever a new allergy developed.
