Our curriculum blends strong foundations with innovation. Reading instruction follows the Science of Reading to ensure every child becomes a skilled, confident reader. In math, we use the Singapore Math approach to help students think deeply and solve problems with understanding. Science lessons follow the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), bringing learning to life through experiments, design challenges, and exploration. These programs, together with project-based learning in STEM, Spanish, art, and music, ensure students see the connections between what they learn and the world around them.
Beyond academics, we help children grow into kind, capable leaders. Character education, social-emotional learning, and strong partnerships with families create a foundation for integrity, resilience, and compassion. Students learn to collaborate, think critically, and make positive contributions to their community.
By the time they complete Grade 7, Farragut students are ready—and excited—for the challenges ahead. They leave not only academically prepared, but as globally-minded leaders of character and lifelong learners.
“As an AFA alum and a now a parent, I absolutely love this school. I received a fantastic education in an environment where anything was possible. My daughter goes there now and I am thrilled that she will have many of the same teachers I did. I know the faculty and staff care very much about the kids, and have high expectations for them. Farragut has been my second home since I was 10 years old. It's a wonderful place!”
