  • Minecraft

    Minecraft is a 3-D computer game where players can build anything. The game is described as an ‘online Lego’ that involves building blocks and creating structures across different environments and terrains. Set in a virtual world, the game involves resource gathering, crafting, building, and combat. Minecraft Club aims to provide a safe and friendly place for students who love this game to come together and have fun.

  • Yoga with Andrea Correia

    Andrea Correia is a registered and certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance (RYT-500, RCYT, YACEP), boasting eight years of experience teaching kids, teenagers, and adults. She understands and truly believes in the benefits of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation in helping children find balance and inner peace, as well as develop self-awareness and self-regulation skills. Andrea’s classes are fun and engaging, blending the yoga practice with games, breathing exercises, quiet moments, and opportunities to connect with and manage emotions and feelings.

  • READS Book Club
    Days: Monday (4th quarter only)

    Description: Join the READS Book Club for six weeks of reading, snacking, and fun discussions! Each week, we’ll share stories, set reading goals, and enjoy lively conversations and activities related to our books. We’ll kick things off with Impossible Creatures and later vote on a second book to explore as a group. All books and snacks will be provided; students only need to bring a willingness to share ideas and a love of reading.

Tennis (Grades 4-7)

This is an 8-week tennis program designed to continue skill development, coupled with actual playing matches. The students will be introduced to basic single and double match strategies, serve and returns, lobs and overheads, effective net play, and how to handle tough situations and competitions. Students are required to bring their racket.

The baseball and softball activities aim to promote skill development through fun and competitive play with professional instruction and to introduce our AFA Lower Division Students to the Upper School Baseball Coaches, fostering upward growth in our sports program.

Little Artists Craft Club 

This club is a creative space where students bring ideas to life through hands-on art & craft projects. Each session offers an exciting opportunity to explore different interests and materials to support a book or theme we discuss. This is a “make and take” craft club where students will complete a project with friends during the club and take home materials for a coordinating craft to do at home or share with their family. It will encourage creativity, problem-solving, and artistic expression in a fun and engaging environment.

Jr. Paleontology Club (K-2nd)

Junior Paleontology Club introduces K-2nd grade students to the wonders of prehistoric life through fun, age-appropriate activities. Young explorers will dig into real Florida fossil-rich micro-gravel to search for ancient shark teeth and other exciting finds from long ago. Each child will get to keep their discoveries, which may include small fossils from creatures like the megalodon and animals from the Ice Age. With simple tools, hands-on learning, and plenty of curiosity, students will begin to build a connection to natural history in a way that is fun, safe, and memorable.

Grades: K-2

Craft Club
This club gives students a fun place to relax, be creative, and make simple crafts with friends. Each week, we’ll create projects that fit the season—winter crafts, Valentine-themed crafts, and other easy, kid-friendly art they’ll be excited to bring home. Students get to experiment with different materials, try new ideas, and enjoy the process of making something with their hands. It’s a light, low-pressure club focused on having fun, being creative, and enjoying time with friends after school.

  • Gymnastics

    This 16-week class will introduce children to front and back rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and walkovers.  They will learn balance skills on 6” soft crayon balance beams.  They will use the Jr. swing bar for the monkey in all of us.  They will also learn to do pullovers, swings, casts, and pull-ups.  Also includes instructions on Springboards, Trapezoid, Cartwheels, Incline Mats, Handstand Mat, and Back Handspring Mat

    Musical Theater Club
    This program offers a dynamic, hands-on experience in all aspects of musical stage production. Students will explore acting, singing, and dancing while also gaining experience in set design, prop building, costume creation, and stage makeup. This program provides a supportive and creative environment where students can build confidence, enhance performance skills, and develop their artistic talents. The program will culminate in a full-scale production on March 5, 2026. The show title will be announced early in the program, and auditions for specific roles will take place shortly after. Let your creativity shine and take center stage with us this season!

  • Beginner Volleyball
     The Beginner Volleyball Club introduces students to the fundamentals of volleyball in a supportive, structured environment. The program focuses on fundamental skills, including passing, serving, footwork, court movement, and teamwork. Students build confidence through simple drills, guided practice, and age-appropriate skill development. This club offers a supportive environment for new players to learn the sport, enhance their coordination, and stay active after school.

The on-court lessons include an introduction to forehands and backhands, development of groundstrokes, an introduction to serving and returning serve, gameplay through shot combinations, and an introduction to the doubles game. Students are required to bring their racket.

This program is designed to introduce elementary students to the basics of track and field. It promotes engaging, cooperative activities that promote physical fitness, motor skill development, sportsmanship, and confidence through a variety of running, jumping, and throwing events.

BioSTEM Club


BioSTEM Club brings together the excitement of science, engineering, and nature into one engaging afterschool experience for students in grades 3-6. Members will work with tools such as a 3D printer, laser cutter, plastic injection, and more to build projects. Outdoors, students will explore natural spaces around campus and at the waterfront while learning about biology, ecology, and animal behavior. The club also features up-close interaction with reptiles like snakes and lizards, along with simple experiments and environmental investigations.

Grades: 3-7

Paleontology Club offers an engaging experience for students in grades 3-7 who are curious about fossils, prehistoric life, and natural history. Members will take part in hands-on activities, including sifting through real Florida fossil-rich gravel to search for ancient treasures. Students will get to keep their finds, which may include shark teeth from creatures like the megalodon, along with Ice Age fossils such as mammoth teeth and other prehistoric bones. Through discovery and observation, students will build knowledge and excitement about the ancient life that once existed in their backyard.

Geology Club-Miners Edition

Geology Club Miners Edition is an adventure for students in grades 3 through 7 who love Minecraft and want to explore the real world behind the game. Club members will connect what they see on screen to real rocks and minerals. Using UV flashlights, magnifiers, and simple tools, students will search through mineral-rich gravel, break open rocks, use lapidary equipment, and investigate materials that match in-game items like glowstone, obsidian, lapis, and more. By blending play, observation, and discovery, Geology Club Miners Edition offers a creative and hands-on way to explore science through a familiar and exciting lens.
