Here’s How: Thanks to our generous alumni donors, Farragut is offering extraordinary scholarship opportunities for outstanding students with strengths in academics, the arts, and/or community service.

Attending a Private School is Possible

At Admiral Farragut Academy, we are committed to making a private school education possible for families of all socio-economic backgrounds. We encourage students of all grades interested in a private school day or boarding program to apply for academic- and need-based scholarships!

  • Scholarships for Florida Residents or Military Families


    For Florida Residents

    Whether your child has attended a public or private school, we encourage that you apply for the Step Up For Students Scholarship. Award is averaging between $6,673 to $7,169 depending on grade and county of residence per child. Dependent children of the U.S. Armed Forces members are also eligible now. There are also scholarships for unique needs from the Florida Department of Education including the McKay Scholarship, the Family Empowerment Scholarship, and the AAA Scholarship. If you already received a state-funded scholarship, let our admissions team know during your call!

    For Military Families

    Farragut accepts scholarships also through the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs and the Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program and the NewDay USA Scholarship Program for Gold Star Families.

  • Scholarships for Exceptional Students


    Admiral Farragut Academy offers scholarships for exceptional students who complete the admission application requirements, have a desire to be a positive contributing member of the Admiral Farragut Academy student body, and demonstrate any of the following:

    • High academic achievement
    • Community engagement and involvement
    • Strong character qualities and/or leadership skills
    • High interest in the arts

    • We provide monthly payment plans that fit within your family’s budget.
    • Scholarships are renewable each year contingent that the family and student continue to meet the required criteria.

Tuition varies depending on the student’s grade level. This is an example of tuition ranges for students who earned scholarships. *There are a limited number of scholarships available that cover 80-90% of tuition!*
