Video message to parents from Headmaster Bob Fine regarding coronavirus challenges and online learning
Special video message to parents from Headmaster Bob Fine regarding coronavirus challenges and online learning.
Greetings Farragut Families,
As with many schools around the country, this was the time of year Admiral Farragut Academy was preparing to enjoy spring break, plan for many year-end activities including sports, field trips, student celebrations, the annual auction, and graduation.
Instead, our campus is fairly empty.
The health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and family are our priority.
We are not sure how long this global pandemic will last but we do know during these uncertain times Admiral Farragut Academy is committed to continuing to meet the needs of our students, faculty, staff, and families.
To our Farragut community – we are here for you. We will do everything we can to make sure students are provided a quality online learning environment.
While it may be a virtual environment it is still a Farragut environment.
Teachers will connect each day to students and be there to support them in their education and provide a sense of comfort and familiarity they very much need during this time.
Integrity and perseverance are two of the core values of Admiral Farragut Academy and it is during times such as these that all of us are challenged to rise to the cause.
We will overcome this challenge to face the future together – and come through this crisis better, stronger, and safer.
We are Farragut!
