Two Lower School students placed in the national contest, Nasco “Sketchables™” Postcard Contest. The contest was open to students in grades K-12 with four grade divisions for prizes. Students were instructed that they may use any medium to create/design the artwork, but it must be on a Nasco “Sketchables™” Postcard. A panel of Nasco art consultants judged the entries on the basis of originality and design.
4th-grader Valentina Romano placed 1st for Grades 4-6 division and won $100.
1st-grader Sereen Shamseddine placed 3rd in Grades K-3 division and won $50.
Mrs. Shusta presented their checks and ribbons during the awards ceremony. Congratulations to our talented students!
