Teacher and Coach, Andrew Lacroix, inducted into New England Wrestling Association
Upper School English Teacher and Wrestling Coach, Andrew Lacroix, was inducted into the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Hall of Fame at the NEWA Dual Meet Championship on Sunday, January 22 in Providence, Rhode Island.
During Lacroix’s college wrestling career at Roger Williams University, he took third place at the 2006 NCAA Division III Wrestling tournament and earned the status of All-American. Lacroix was also a three-time New Hampshire state champion and two-time New England Champion during his high school wrestling career.
“It was an honor to be recognized by my peers for over a decade of hard work and sacrifice,” said Lacroix. “I am truly humbled to have been selected and it was the icing on the cake for my collegiate wrestling career. Now, my job is to give back and help others pursue their goals in the sport of wrestling.”
