14 Farragut legacy families are celebrated during the Class of 2021 Graduation
Every year, Admiral Farragut Academy is proud to invite legacy families to present the high school diploma to their graduates. Legacy families are families with multiple generational connections to Admiral Farragut Academy including former graduates and current employees. For the Class of 2021, 14 legacy families joined their graduate on stage.
Ronald White III ’21 earns track scholarship to West Point Prep

When Ronald White III, Admiral Farragut Academy Class of 2021 graduate, started high school as a freshman, he wasn’t even sure he wanted to go to college. Now, four years later and two years after starting at Farragut, he graduated with a track scholarship to attend the United States Military Academy Preparatory School at West Point with plans for admission to West Point in the Fall of 2022.
Eddie Gaines ‘21 fulfills lifelong dream with appointment to West Point
Ten years ago, an 8-year-old Eddie Gaines watched a YouTube video about the United States Prep school Academy at West Point and decided that that was where he wanted to be. Now, after having graduated with the Admiral Farragut Academy Class of 2021, Eddie has been accepted to West Point will start on June 28th.

Radford Star recipients for the 4th quarter of the 2020-21 school year
Admiral Farragut Academy is proud to announce the Radford Star cadet recipients for the 4th quarter of the 2020-21 school year. The Radford Star Award is the single highest honor a cadet can receive at the Academy. It recognizes outstanding cadets who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, deportment, drill, and seamanship. Cadets who earn a score of 25 or above, qualify for a period of one marking period and are awarded three stars to wear on their uniforms.
