Farragut Family Association 2019-2020 Recap

Dear Farragut Families,  

The Farragut Family Association (FFA) would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the 2019-2020 school year.  This was not a typical school year but together we did our best to end the year strong.  Unfortunately, the FFA was not able to hold all of the originally planned events, one of which is typically the biggest fundraiser of the year – the auction/gala. We are happy to report the events we were able to host were successful and wanted to share a little recap. Family participation in these events is a great opportunity to build relationships with other parents and raise funds for the school.

Watch our new virtual campus tour video

With a lot of our Upper School families living domestically or internationally, sometimes it is not possible for families to take a campus tour.

This new video is led by Stephanie Wood, Director of Admissions, and Jeff Ogden, Director of Enrollment, and features Farragut Hall, the dormitories, classrooms, DeSeta Hall, and the East and West Grinders.

SAGE Dining releases booklet guide to reopening dining halls

The SAGE Dining senior leadership team has been spending a lot of time developing their recommendations for safely reopening kitchens and dining halls. They shared their position for best practices based on many internal discussions and external research.
