Scholastic Book Fair event is the week of November 4th-8th

Reading unlocks the power of information and imagination. Studies show that students who read 20 minutes a day are exposed to 1.8 million words per year! This not only leads to a stronger vocabulary but translates into higher grades. Come out and explore the benefits of reading during our Arctic Adventure Book Fair which begins on November 4th. Your child will be motivated to read by the wide selection of books and they will remember the book fair experience for years to come. It is fun and educational for the whole family. We feel that we have a very special community here at Farragut, and our goal is to share that with the rest of St. Petersburg and the world! Join us for a great golf outing which includes a lunch buffet and 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Contests will include longest drive, closest to the pin, a 50/50 raffle, other raffle prizes, and a putting green contest to putt for booze. All alumni foursomes, including those purchased through a sponsorship, have the opportunity to compete for the Alumni Cup Trophy. Read more

The Farragut Day of Giving will officially begin at 12:01 AM (EST), Tuesday, November 12, 2019. This 24-hour event will unite Admiral Farragut Academy alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends in the common goal of showing their Farragut Pride and raising funds for the Farragut Fund and AFA Foundation.

Great time for a great cause at the 2019 Poker Run 2019

We would like to thank everyone for joining us on Saturday, September 14, 2019, for our annual Poker Run which helped raise over $8,000 for the Farragut Family Association (FFA), which will directly impact the students at Admiral Farragut Academy. Back-to-School Parent Social 2019-20 hosted by the Farragut Family Association

The Farragut Family Association (FFA) would like to thank everyone for taking the time to join us as we celebrated the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. This event had our largest turn out yet with around 250 parents in attendance! A big thank you to all those that signed up to help with one or more of our committees. We plan to reach out within the next week with additional information/details. If you were unable to attend and would like to volunteer with the FFA, click here to learn more.

Admiral Farragut Academy 2019 Back-to-School Parent Social

All parents are invited to the 2019 Back-to-School Parent Social on Monday, August 19, 2019, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in DeSeta Hall at Admiral Farragut Academy. Please submit your RSVP to attend.

You will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, a donation drink bar, and the opportunity to socialize with new and returning parents. The event is hosted by the Farragut Family Association (FFA), a volunteer-driven group that all parents are a member of.

Since alcohol is served, this event is for adults only. For those with currently enrolled Lower School students (PreK-7th grade), childcare will be provided at no cost in the Huntley Gymnasium (location has changed to the PreK classroom). If your Upper School child would like to earn volunteer hours and supervise, please let us know in the form.

Please include the number of Lower School children with names and ages so we have enough supervision.
