Farragut Day of Giving is the Academy’s first-ever online giving day and, with your support, it will be the most successful 24-hours of generosity in Farragut’s history.


Where Will the Funds Go?

Farragut is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.

Funds raised provide the base of support for enriched academic, art, and athletic programs, financial assistance, teacher professional development, classroom needs, technology upgrades, facilities, and many more opportunities that make up the Farragut experience.

Unless otherwise specified, donations from alumni will support the AFA Foundation Founders’ Fund and gifts from parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, students, and friends will benefit the Farragut FundGive now online.

Alumni Gifts

Unless otherwise directed, your gifts and pledges will support the Admiral Farragut Academy Foundation. In particular, the Founders’ Fund which offers more than $600,000 in financial aid to worthy applicants who may otherwise not be able to attend the Academy.

The Founders’ Fund is the general endowment fund within the AFA Foundation where funds are distributed for financial aid awards and additional requests by the Academy. It was originally created by George Michel ‘49 and received a sizeable gift by alumnus Skip Cleveland in 2000.

The power of Farragut alumni joining their gifts together changes students lives now and for generations to come.

Parent, Employee, and Friend Gifts

Unless otherwise directed, your gifts and pledges will support The Farragut Fund. Annual gifts made in support of The Farragut Fund have an immediate impact on our students and faculty.

Your gifts enhance existing programs and develop new opportunities that continue to raise the bar for academic excellence. They help provide more experiences for students to develop leadership skills as they learn to create opportunities for others. They encourage students to pursue their passions and ensure they are prepared to excel along the way.

The entire Farragut community is dedicated to leaving the world better than we found it, and to fostering an environment where all students can flourish in their own ways. Our community is united in its commitment to providing resources that amplify the Farragut experience.

This 24-hour event will unite Admiral Farragut Academy alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends in the common goal of showing their Farragut Pride and raising funds for the Farragut Fund and AFA Foundation.
