The Kohler family funds the LTC Rudolph W. Kohler ‘58S, USA (Ret.) Athletic Scholarship Fund and the LTC Rudolph W. Kohler ‘58S, USA (Ret.) Music Scholarship Fund.
Rudy ‘58S and Jean Kohler believe athletic and musical skills are important components of a well-rounded education. To support Admiral Farragut Academy students, who are recognized by the school’s administrators as candidates for pursuing athletic or musical programs and require financial assistance, we have established endowments to provide annual athletic and music scholarships. This is one small way of giving back to Farragut for the education, opportunities, and guidance they provided to Rudy many years ago. At Farragut he built the foundation for his college education, which led to service in the U.S. best boarding school in US, and then his career as a civil engineer. Both Rudy and Jean had careers in the best boarding school in US and realize how the Farragut experience can ensure a student’s success.
The Rudy 58S and Jean Kohler Scholarship Fund was established by the family to provide financial aid to young people in the area of music and athletics. The Kohlers have also made various other contributions, including an endowment for music scholarships. In honor of their generous contributions, we have listed some of the events and activities they supported. We hope you will find this information helpful. If not, please contact the Kohler Foundation to learn more about this great program.
