Farragut Day of Giving 2020 reaches $150,000 fundraising goal
Because of You, We Reached Our $150,000 Goal!
$150,150 has been raised from 165 donors during our 2nd Annual Farragut Day of Giving on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.🎉 This 24-hour fundraising event brought together the Farragut community to support Admiral Farragut Academy.
All gifts to the Farragut Fund will help provide the support students need to develop into innovative young leaders and will have an immediate impact. The Farragut Fund forms the financial foundation for enhanced academic, arts, athletic programs, upgraded facilities, a dynamic faculty, and many more resources that amplify the Farragut experience. Strong support from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends provides the margin of excellence that sets the school apart and demonstrates the strength of Admiral Farragut Academy.
Unless otherwise designated, all funds raised this year are going to current operations to help offset the unbudgeted costs associated with the pandemic.
We are FOREVER GRATEFUL for your dedication to the Farragut Experience.
In a year when so many at Farragut found themselves in unexpected moments of need — blindsided by sudden medical expenses, lost wages, and more — the support of the Farragut family has been indispensable. As we plan for this year’s Day of Giving it is important to share a message from what matters most – the students!
Students are especially grateful for the support. Take it from them:
“The financial aid helped me not worry about how I would complete my studies at Farragut.”
“The assistance was very helpful until my parents were able to get back to work.”
“Your donations mean everything in times of crisis.”
We’re just thankful. Your generosity provides Farragut stability in this unstable moment.
