Biography

After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education, Francis taught kindergarten and first grade for 10 years. She then accepted the role of Upper Division (K-5) Director at a private school in Winter Park overseeing the growth of the school from Preschool-2nd to Preschool to fifth grade. Her roles at the school included Lower Division Director (preschool & pre-kindergarten), Curriculum Director, Accreditation Director, and Executive Director of Upper and Lower Divisions.

Francis has also worked at SRA/McGraw-Hill as an Advanced Reading Consultant advising teachers and administrators on best reading practices for student success. Her hobbies include going to the beach, traveling, music, and spending time with her family and friends. With over 25 years in the field of education, she is excited to continue her educational journey at Admiral Farragut Academy.
