Jeri and Marc have two children – Sophia, who is in her second year at the University of Tampa; and Sam, who will be in his first year at St. Petersburg College this fall. You will see Jeri and Marc out and about the campus with their Yorkie, Mabel. Marc’s favorite thing to do is travel with his family. Prior to having children, he and his wife and traveled extensively, and traveling has been an important activity for their family. For many years, Marc has also been a runner.
Why do you do what you do?
I come from a family of educators. My dad is a retired teacher and public school administrator. Both of my siblings are retired teachers. My wife is a school administrator. After retiring as a college enrollment manager I wanted to continue working in an educational environment and was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to become a classroom teacher.
A fun fact everyone may not know.
When I was a little boy, a college professor made a documentary film that I appeared in (for about five seconds) and the film won a special category Oscar.
