Mr. Sonderegger graduated with his masters degree in May ’22, was married in June ’22, was hired as an adjunct and taught a Physics 2 class for Saint Petersburg College in June-August ’22, and now works for Admiral Farragut. Mr. Sonderegger has been tutoring college level math for over 6 years, college level physics for over 2 years, and various software and engineering courses for over 2 years through companies such as Saint Petersburg College, Mathnasium, Wyzant, and Embry-Riddle. During his graduate program, he taught Physics 3 Lab for Physicists and Physics 3 Lab for Engineers. In addition, during the school year, he ran supplemental instruction for Calculus 2 three nights a week for 3 years.

Mr. Sonderegger has a passion for space sciences and engineering, and has been able to do research on solar particle interactions with Earth Magnetosphere with data collected from the Van Allan probe satellites, research on the speeds of Saturn’s Rings using the largest telescope in the southeastern United States, and graduate research into innovative ways that spacecraft can vertically take off and land. His hobbies include playing guitar, making things with Arduino, and traveling with his wife.
