Jim is joining the residential life staff at Admiral Farragut Academy with three years of professional teaching experience working with children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Jim has also worked as a lead summer camp counselor with children of all ages and has experience coaching football for two years at the middle school level. Jim has worked as an elementary physical education teacher, middle school instructional aide for special education students, and a lead ropes course and rock wall counselor at a summer camp. Jim is also an accomplished athlete with experience playing many sports, with a focus on football and rugby, earning his university’s role as captain of the men’s rugby team for two years. Jim brings dedication and a passion for working with children to his work and believes that a strong and undeniable commitment to the success of every child is the key to unlocking their full potential and leading them to academic and life success. Throughout the several years of working with children in an educational setting, Jim has found that developing strong relationships with each and every child will ensure that they grow and learn to their maximum potential, and understands that this is hugely beneficial in the residential life department.
