Biography

Jennifer Perez joined Admiral Farragut Academy in 2017 as a School Protection Officer. During her time at Farragut, Jennifer transitioned from security to join Residential Life and fill a role as a TAC Mentor.

She was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. The oldest girl of four siblings, two older brothers and one younger sister, she always strived to make her parents proud and be a good role model.

Jennifer’s passion has always been to serve, teach, and protect her community. She served as a volunteer EMT in the township of Union, New Jersey and worked 9 years in the private sector of security. Farragut is now her community and her plans are to help provide a happy and healthy living environment for the next generations of boarding students. She will teach important life skills such as problem-solving, communication, leadership, and confidence.

Fun Fact: In 2010 Jennifer competed in her first ever beauty pageant and won 1st place as Miss Puerto Rico for the State of New Jersey.
