Jamilee previously taught Biology and AP Environmental Science at Osceola Fundamental High School.  After taking some time off to raise her young children, she returned to teaching, but with a new love for art.  Jamilee taught part-time at the Wonder Studio, a process-art and science class for children.  She then taught Visual Arts for one year at Sacred Heart Catholic School before changing schools to AFA.  She believes everyone is an artist and creativity is something you can grow and cultivate.  Her classroom is a choice-based classroom, with an emphasis on teaching studio habits instead alongside art techniques.  She loves to travel and to be outside.  Most of her free time is spent with her family, including her 3 boys, ages 5, 5, and 7.
