Mrs. Gormley is happily married and was born and raised in St. Petersburg.  She graduated with her K-6th Elementary Education degree from Appalachian State University. She has a 20 year old son who is attending USFSP.

She came to us with 22 years of experience as an early childhood educator.

Mrs. Gormley started her career as a Developmental Specialist working with children birth through five at risk or having developmental delays.

In 1999 she became the Program Coordinator for the Inclusion Of Children With Disabilities. She was awarded a grant and then became the Director of the Project Jericho Inclusion Program for 3 years. She traveled throughout the state of New Mexico training pre-schools on developmentally appropriate practices.

Allison Gormley then taught Kindergarten for 12 years. She taught one year in Albuquerque, NM, 7 years at Canterbury School of Florida, and 3 years at Admiral Farragut Academy. Previously she worked at Admiral Farragut for 2 years with Susan Morris in Pre-K.

She is so excited to implement an enriched language arts and science program in Pre-K.
