Boarding students enjoy a party at the waterfront
On Thursday, March 11, Farragut’s boarding students celebrated the end of the third quarter with a Spring Break sendoff party at the waterfront.
During the celebration, they had a great time kayaking and paddle boating, playing catch, and hanging out around the bonfire.
“We wanted to celebrate the students’ accomplishments, such as good grades at the end of this quarter, as well as college acceptances for the seniors,” said TAC mentor Jen Perez-Javier.
*Note: Boarding students are divided into pods that are managed by where they live in their dormitory wing. The boarders assigned to a certain pod do everything together such as eat dinner, swim at the pool, exercise in the weight room, and shopping trips off-campus. As such, they are not required to wear masks around each other when in outdoor areas on campus.
