Private School Education
Why Farragut is Different
As you learn more about Farragut you might expect–and you would be right–that as a private school, we have small classrooms, a committed, caring faculty, and a superior curriculum.
What you might not expect is that the exposure to and friendships with students from other cultures that your child receives here will translate into an appreciation for being a part of a global community, something larger than oneself.
You might also be surprised to know how much the leadership experience gained through our Naval-based fundamentals will help your child succeed and rise above others, from the college admissions process to his or her chosen career path.
At Farragut, we develop leaders from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
Fun Fact: On average Admiral Farragut Academy’s enrollment is above 510 with 30% of the students in Lower School and 70% in the Upper School. On average 40% of the Upper School are boarding students.
Longstanding Tradition
Since 1933
Farragut has a longstanding tradition of building leaders who will impact the world. That tradition grows every year with each graduating class. With students from around the world, the country, and several local towns and neighborhoods, we take pride in what our global community on campus is all about. But we’re not just about building leaders. — We’re about building a family. — A place where everyone supports each other.
