This past summer, George Dyche ‘16 — whose parents are engineers for ExxonMobil — spent a majority of his summer working alongside petroleum engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and geoscientists. That was not necessarily a normal activity for teenagers, but for George, it was a head start on his future. Read more
Since the inception of the BlueJackets Invitational four years ago, Farragut’s wrestling program has steadily grown in numbers and strength. Calvin Brown, a mainstay at Farragut over the past 28 years, played an integral part in helping set the foundation that second-year coach Ron Timpanaro has been able to fortify over his short but successful tenure. Over the Winter Break, Farragut soccer coach Cesar Robalino took six students to Munich, Germany for an eight-day trip to participate in the GFL Soccer Enterprises team camp. The players who went included Joey Ambrefe ‘18, Josh Biggins ‘17, Alex Fiorillo ‘19, Kaan Gezen ‘17, Dylan Miksch ‘19, Alex Oi Moreno ‘19, and Ivan Volkov ‘17. Read more
